Music Lessons

Private music lessons in piano, guitar, drums, voice, and violin are offered weekly in increments of 30 minutes. Most lessons start at age 6 or first grade, with the exception of violin, which can start at age 4. Lessons include theory and technique from different music styles tailored to the students’ interests. Teachers utilize a variety of methods based on the student’s age level. They are also taught how to get ready for a performance with memorization and stage presence. Music students perform at two recitals each year--one at Christmas and one in the spring. They also have the opportunity to participate in music festivals in the area.
