Andria Knighten is originally from West Blocton, Alabama where she graduated from West Blocton High School. She joined Cahaba Medical Care in 2018 and serves as nurse practitioner for CMC’s School-Based Health Clinics in Bibb County. She was a RN for 13 years before becoming a certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) and is also certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). She currently resides in Centreville with her husband, Joey, and their two children, Drew and Gracyn.

Alex Clifton, a native of Hoover, Alabama, joined the Cahaba Medical Care team in September 2016. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in psychology and biology from UAB and her Master of Medical Science in physician assistant studies from LMU-DCOM in Harrogate, Tennessee. She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of The American Academy of Physician Assistants. She has been married to her wonderful husband, Craig, since May 2014, and the couple recently welcomed their son, Elliot, in December 2018. In her spare time, Alex enjoys shopping, watching movies, and playing with her dog, Kiba.

Amanda Wiggins grew up in Bibb County and began working for Cahaba Medical Care in October 2004, only three months after it first opened in Centreville. She has worn many hats throughout her time time with CMC, handling duties such as triage, nursing, reception, inventory and purchasing, phone calls, scheduling, vaccines, OSHA/HIPAA compliance, new staff orientation and training, and many others. She recently transitioned to a new position as office manager and nurse for CMC’s School-Based Health Clinics, which opened in August of 2018 to serve students within the Bibb County School System. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Madison, and supporting her interests and activities.

April serves as our Social Worker for both of our school clinics and has more than 21 years experience in social work. She currently resides in Knoxville with her husband, Clint and their daughter, McCallie.

Julia serves as our Certified Athletic Trainer for Bibb County High School. She is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and currently resides in Calera.
