Laura Lishman, MD - Physician / FM + OB Faculty
Dr. Lishman is originally from Northwest Indiana; however, Alabama has been her home since 2007. She received her undergraduate degree from Judson College in Marion and graduated from medical school at the University of South Alabama in Mobile in 2015. She is a graduate of CFMR’s class of 2018 and recently began OB fellowship training with CMC. Dr. Lishman is passionate about serving the rural community of Marion by providing quality and comprehensive medical care to the best of her ability. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her horse and her dog, as well as fishing, camping, swimming, gardening, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Lashandra Walter, CRNP - Nurse Practitioner
Lashandra was born and raised in Marion, Alabama. She received her associates degree in nursing at Wallace Community College Selma, then went on to earn her bachelor's degree and master's degree from Herzing University in Birmingham. She previously worked at UAB Medical West Hospital Rehab Unit for a year and a half and Northport DCH for five years as a rehab nurse, medical/surgical, progressive care unit, and total joint unit float nurse. As a young child, she always dreamed of becoming a nurse. Seeing her mom working as a CNA inspired her to enter the healthcare field. As she became more involved in nursing and feeling sympathy towards the sick, she felt she needed to be more involved and chose to further her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She currently resides in Moundville with my daughter Amariyah. Outside of work, she manages an online boutique, coaches cheer, watches racing, reads and enjoys traveling.
Elizabeth Graves, RN - Office Manager
Amelia Foster, MS, RD, LDN - Dietitian / Nutritionist
Millie Foster received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Alabama in 2013 and 2014, respectively. She previously worked in both behavioral nutrition counseling and clinical nutrition in the Sevierville, Tennessee area for one year before joining Cahaba Medical Care in March 2016. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine practice group. Her professional interests include functional foods and glycomacropeptide as a dietary protein supplement. She currently sees patients at CMC’s rural locations in Centreville, Woodstock, Maplesville and Marion. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, backpacking, reading and mountain biking.

Charles Jackson, BSW - Case Management Social Worker
Charles has been working in social work for the past five years and joined Cahaba Medical Care in January 2019. He provides social work services at our clinics in Centreville and Marion, and he assists with our School-Based Health Clinics as well. He currenlty resides in Centreville with his wife and their two children.
