Christy Hunter, CRNP - Nurse Practitioner
Christy Hunter has 18 years of experience in family practice, interventional cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology and internal medicine with hospitalist groups. She joined Cahaba Medical Care in October 2015 and was instrumental in establishing Cahaba Medical Care – Maplesville. She earned a master’s degree in nursing and certified nurse practitioner qualifications from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is married and has three children.
Amanda Seales, CRNP - Nurse Practitioner
Amanda Brown, RN - Office Manager
Amanda Brown is a native of Maplesville, Alabama where she graduated from Maplesville High School. She received her associate degree in nursing from Wallace State Community College in Selma in 2008, then went on to obtain her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Auburn University in Montgomery in 2014. She brings 10 years of nursing experience, having previously worked at Shelby Baptist Medical Center as a medical/surgical nurse and charge nurse. She joined Cahaba Medical Care in 2015, where she serves as office manager for CMC’s clinic in Maplesville and enjoys the relationships with patients she has been able to develop through community nursing. She currently resides in Maplesville with her husband, Phillip, and their two children, Alice and Judson. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking, flower gardening, working with the children’s ministry at her church and singing in the church choir.
Amelia Foster, MS, RD, LDN - Dietitian / Nutritionist
Millie Foster received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Alabama in 2013 and 2014, respectively. She previously worked in both behavioral nutrition counseling and clinical nutrition in the Sevierville, Tennessee area for one year before joining Cahaba Medical Care in March 2016. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine practice group. Her professional interests include functional foods and glycomacropeptide as a dietary protein supplement. She currently sees patients at CMC’s rural locations in Centreville, Woodstock, Maplesville and Marion. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, backpacking, reading and mountain biking.

Charles Jackson, BSW - Case Management Social Worker
Charles has been working in social work for the past five years and joined Cahaba Medical Care in January 2019. He provides social work services at our clinics in Centreville and Marion, and he assists with our School-Based Health Clinics as well. He currenlty resides in Centreville with his wife and their two children.
