Dr. John Waits Receives Martha Myers Role Model Award

Dr. John Waits was named the 2024 recipient of the Martha Myers Role Model Award, given by the UAB Medical Alumni Association. This award recognizes physician alumni who make great contributions to patient care and the medical profession, and often go unheralded. These physicians have often served in multiple non-medical leadership roles in the community that notably benefit society. Dr. Waits was nominated by Dr. Julia Boothe.
