Global Missions Health Conference

Several of our residents and faculty members attended the Global Missions Health Conference in Louisville, KY. Dr. Clara Formby, one of our faculty members, was on the GMHC Planning Committee which oversaw the plenaries and topics. Two of our other faculty members, Dr. Jonathan Peters and Dr. Andrew Posey, led a breakout session focused on, "Using Procedural Medicine to Build Relationships". Also, Garrett Jackson, Frontier PGY-1 resident, co-led a breakout session regarding wisdom for residency. Another faculty member, Dr. Casey Hicks, was interviewed by the GMHC media team and was able to share more about Cahaba.
