Cahaba Medical Care - Alabaster Opening November 2022!
Cahaba Medical Care, your local community health center, is crossing county lines to expand its reach in bringing primary healthcare to those in need. Cahaba Medical Care will open its doors to a new clinic in Alabaster on November 16. The facility will initially house two pediatricians, one OBGYN, and one family physician / obstetrician, along with two nurse practitioners and a physician assistant.
Cahaba currently serves patients across five counties (Bibb, Jefferson, Perry, Chilton, and Wilcox), and this will be its first location in Shelby County. This Joint-Commission accredited Patient-Centered Medical Home is a place to establish comprehensive primary care and takes pride in being a center that welcomes everyone, no matter your age or insurance. The new center is located at 1010 1st Street N, Suite 350, in the Physicians Center connected to Shelby Baptist Medical Center, and will be open Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. A formal ribbon cutting will take place early next year.
